I basically switch off everything that i know. Then i light up the candle and 'lepak' at the entrance door. Very calming experience it is.

KL DESIGN WEEK '09

Recently, i've submitted 2 artworks for become (an environmental community organisation) during the 1st ever Kuala Lumpur Design Week 2009. I've submitted 2 designs of green bag which will be displayed during the event.

Even when i got listed in their website, i'm already proud. I was even more proud that my design was displayed during the event. I didn't go for their conferences because i couldn't afford it. I really wanna see studio 4ºc and Aya Kato in person...



Anyway... next year, hopefully i can participate to showcase my works too.

Got free tickets coz our company involved with the idea of building up xpax booth. In the end, it turns out... differently. Anyway, really enjoy the performance by n.e.r.d. nice...

WEBSITE UPDATE

Still under progression, but you can already see the look and feel that i'm going. My portfolio page hopefully will be up at least end of this month. Then after that, i will start on my comic, merchandise and reprint my business card. Hope everything going well.

On the way back from Pavilion Mall, I bought some unusual kids magazine from UK... stunned, because it's so damn nice. Actually, it's very inspiring for me because of its drawings. Make me wonder, how come we don't made something like this here.

INSPIRING WEEKEND

I'm pretty much struggling right now to finish up my website. Anyhow, need to be up this month. Time is really torturing me.

Still, I need to get out for this rural place of my home (current home), by going out to KL. Usual place and usual activity; watching movie in the cinema at Pavillion. I managed to watch 2 movies today. Hellboy 2: The Golden Army & The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor. Honest to say; Hellboy is really good but The Mummy was very disappointed. Enough with that.

Actually, on the way to the Mall. I saw some interesting artist piece of art at the entrance of Pavilion Shopping Mall. It's actually really inspiring and bring a different perspective and environment to the shopper. Good work for allowed these artist to have a piece of his creativity. Should do this more. Definitely check this out.
